About UNDC

The United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC) is a New York State benefit corporation established by the State of New York in 1968 to develop and operate office space and other facilities for the benefit of the United Nations community in New York City.

UNDC developed and operates One, Two, and Three UN Plaza, which contain approximately one million square feet of office space occupied by the UN, UN Development Programme, UNICEF and missions to the UN.

Mission Statement

The mission of the United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC) is to provide office space and other facilities that help meet the current and future needs of the UN Community (the United Nations, foreign missions and related programs), and otherwise to assist the UN Community in meeting its real estate needs. UNDC also provides advice and services, including studies, with respect to real estate needs and development within the State of New York as requested by the City or State of New York, the United States, or the UN. As provided in its enabling statute, UNDC operates within a designated Development District near UN Headquarters in Manhattan.
