Freedom of Information Law Requests
UNDC records are available to the public in accordance with Article 6 of the New York State Public Officers Law, known as the “Freedom of Information Law”, or “FOIL”. The Freedom of Information Law is administered by the New York State Committee on Open Government. For more information about FOIL, please visit the Committee’s website at https://opengovernment.ny.gov/.
How to submit a FOIL request
We encourage you to submit requests for records by email, mail, or fax, but if you are unable to do so, you may submit a request in person. Please be advised that records requested in person will not be made available immediately. Please provide a clear description of the record(s) sought.

UNDC is located at Two UN Plaza, 27th Floor, New York, NY 10017. UNDC is open during normal business hours. Upon entering the building, please visit the front desk and advise front desk staff that you would like to submit a request for records from UNDC. Front desk staff will contact UNDC, and a UNDC staff member will provide assistance.
